Fuzzy Duck

Introduction

Here is probably one of the easiest and most well-known drinking games of all. There are three things you can legally say in the game, "Fuzzy Duck, Ducky Fuzz, or Duzz he?". Any other utterances, usually hapless attempts at the aforementioned, are severely reprimanded!

How to Play

The players, at least four is a nice start, arrange themselves in a circle. The lucky soul selected to begins does so by saying "Fuzzy Duck". The player to the left now has two choices: they may say:

  • "Fuzzy Duck", continuing the game to the left, or
  • "Duzz he?", which reverses the game to the right

If play continues to the left, then the next player has the same two choices. However, if play is reversed and passes to the right, that player may say:

  • "Ducky Fuzz ", continuing the game to the right, or
  • "Duzz he?", which reverses the game again to the left

Speed is vital; however stuttering and complete memory loss are not and should not be tolerated under any circumstances. Any person who pauses must drink, and anyone who gets it wrong or mispronounces it also must drink.

Left movement is "Fuzzy Duck", right movement "Ducky Fuzz", and direction reversal "Duzz he?".

You may also want to introduce the rule that the same player cannot say the same thing consecutively within the same round. This means that if player 2 says "Fuzzy Duck" and play comes back around to them, they must say "Duzz he?" before being able to say "Fuzzy Duck" again.

Below is a example game between five people (number 1 to 5 in a clockwise direction), player 1 starts.

  • Player 1. "FUZZY DUCK"
  • Player 2. "FUZZY DUCK"
  • Player 3. "FUZZY DUCK"
  • Player 4. "DUZZ HE"
  • Player 3. "DUCKY FUZZ"
  • Player 2. "DUZZ HE"
  • Player 3. "FUZZY DUCK"
  • Player 4. "FUZZY DUCK"
  • Player 5. "FUZZY DUCK"
  • Player 1. "FUZZY DUCK"

Player 1 is at fault for saying the same phrase twice; they should have said "DUZZ HE".
