Pool Shark

Introduction

Have you ever been in a pub or pool hall and thought to yourself "gosh, I wish there was only a way to combine my pool playing and my drinking?" Well have we got an idea for you! This is a little game you can play while you are shooting a game of pool to help make it more interesting, and make each of the shots count for a little bit more. It is not meant to be a competitive game, however it does reward those with greater skill over those they are playing against.

How to Play

If you play pool like the majority of us amateurs and do not call your shots, then the rules are as follows:

• for each ball you pot, you can give one drink to your opponent (or each member of your opponent's team)
• for each shot you miss, you have to take 2 drinks

If you're more advanced, and call your shots, then whenever you call a shot, and then pot it, you then get to give your opponent 2 drinks. If you miss the shot then you have to drink 3 times. This is only fair since you were not only bold enough to call your shot, but you were silly enough to miss it!
